Café Rico:  Taller de poesía:  "I had my students make a Libro de poesía with the poems they wrote, which they peer-edited.  I pasted excerpts from student work on a transparency and then asked them, "How could we say it better?"  I made comments with regard to poetic devices and their poems, but did not correct too much grammar.  I also had them find examples of the elementos literarios in "Versos del Capitán," by Pablo Neruda.  Did I mention that this unit was a huge success?"
